ID Studios Ltd is looking for a talented and creative Design Consultant / Interior Designer to join our growing design team in London. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, excellent design skills and the ability to transform client requirements into beautiful, functional interior spaces.
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate Design Consultant / Interior Designer who can work closely with clients from the initial consultation through to the final design stage. You will be responsible for understanding client requirements, developing creative interior concepts, preparing design presentations and coordinating with the wider project team to deliver high-quality interior design solutions.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of residential and commercial interior design, materials, finishes, furniture, lighting and spatial planning. You should be confident communicating design ideas to clients and be able to balance creativity, functionality, budget and project requirements.

Responsibilities
鈥 Meet and communicate with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, lifestyle and project objectives.
鈥 Develop creative interior design concepts based on client briefs and project requirements.
鈥 Prepare mood boards, material palettes, furniture selections and design presentations.
鈥 Develop space planning and interior layouts for residential and commercial projects.
鈥 Select appropriate furniture, fixtures, finishes, materials, colours and accessories.
鈥 Prepare design proposals and present concepts clearly and professionally to clients.
鈥 Work closely with architects, contractors, suppliers and other project consultants.
鈥 Coordinate design information throughout the project lifecycle.
鈥 Attend project meetings, site visits and client consultations when required.
鈥 Assist with preparing drawings, specifications, schedules and other project documentation.
鈥 Research new materials, products, finishes, furniture and interior design trends.
鈥 Ensure design proposals meet client expectations, project budgets and practical requirements.
鈥 Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy and attention to detail.
鈥 Manage multiple design tasks and project deadlines effectively.
鈥 Support the senior design team with ongoing projects and new business opportunities.
Requirements
鈥 Degree, diploma or equivalent qualification in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or a related field.
鈥 Minimum 2 years of professional experience in interior design or a related design consultancy role.
鈥 Strong knowledge of residential and/or commercial interior design.
鈥 Good understanding of space planning, materials, finishes, furniture and lighting.
鈥 Strong creative and visual communication skills.
鈥 Ability to create professional mood boards, presentations and design concepts.
鈥 Proficiency in relevant design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or similar tools.
鈥 Strong communication and client presentation skills.
鈥 Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
鈥 Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
鈥 Ability to manage deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously.
鈥 A professional portfolio demonstrating interior design work is highly desirable.
鈥 Knowledge of UK interior design standards, suppliers and materials would be an advantage.
